The parallel port mode is as follows:
Pin-1: VSS is the ground power supply
Pin 2: VDD is connected to a 5V positive power supply
Pin 3: V0 is the contrast adjustment end of the LCD display, the weakest contrast when connected to the positive power supply, and the highest contrast when the ground power supply
Foot 4: RS is register selection, data register is selected at high frequency, and instruction register is selected at low frequency.
Foot 5: R/W When R/W and E are high frequency, the data is read to DB0~DB7; When R/W is a low frequency, E changes from high frequency to low frequency, and the data of DB0~DB7 is written to the IR or DR register.
Pin 6: E enable signal
Pins 7~14: DB0~DB7 is an 8-bit bidirectional data line.
Pin 15: PSB parallel/serial selection. When PSB is high frequency, it is parallel mode; When PSB is low frequency, it is serial mode.
